  • "Thank you all for everything, you are all very special people doing what you do for these horses.!"

  • "I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to show Russ and I your farm and your beautiful babies.  I am truly impressed on what you and Cynthia have done to save these magnificent animals from the slaughter house as well as save the ones that nobody wanted because of their age, injuries, or whatever issues they may have.  These innocent horses give so much and for people to treat them as they do is so unfair to them...they are very loving and caring of all the animals too.  That is what it’s all about.

Again, we both enjoyed our visit and would love to come back and see you and all your babies again.  I will definitely keep you in mind if anybody is looking for a horse to adopt and if I find that one needs a loving home, you will be the first one I contact.

Thank you again and God Bless you ALL for what you are doing.!"

  • "Hi Terry -
Just a quick update. Things are going great. I love her more everyday as if that were possible.  She's such a gentle soul. She reminds me a little of Audrey Hepburn.
She seems happy here. Her eyes are soft and she is enjoying her meals. She doesn't often go far from Caleb's side - nor he from hers. When I am in in the barn, she comes and quietly stands by me. I think it is a wonderful match all around. Today some "horse friends" came to visit and to meet her.  She stood with us while we talked - just like "one of the girls."
I saw the "success story" paragraph on your website. I hope her story can inspire others to adopt the older horse.  They have so much to teach us and so much to give!"

  • "Thank you so much for helping me find Gali.  He's an incredible horse... I couldn't be happier!  First thing I did when I got home is print out the pictures that my Dad took, and run out to show all of my friends!  It's still hard to believe that I actually have a horse.

I can assure you that Gali is going to have an amazing home.  Cathy and I decided that once he is used to grass, he's going to be turned out with a horse named Kizzy.  Kizzy's a three year old draft/warmblood who has a huge field all to himself and would like a pasture buddy, and I think Gali and him will get along very well.

I've attached the pictures my Dad took today, and when I get him on the farm I assure you that I'll send a whole slew of them your way.

    Thank you so much, again!"

  • "I just wanted to let you know that Rio got to his new home safe and sound.  He settled down nicely in the trailer once we started to move and was very well behaved the entire trip.   We were able to turn him out for about two hours and let him settle in with his new stable and pasture mates.  He was really funny when we turned him out – he bucked and kicked and whinnied and ran around and then came running over to me at the fence and started blowing in my hair and nuzzling my face and neck.  Too funny! Thanks – again!"

  • "just wondering how Sienna is doing, I really like her.... and I can't stop thinking about her!!!  I can't wait to work with her.. It was a pleasure meeting you and Terry, I wish I lived closer to you guys. You are great horse people and I am so happy I met you! I have been telling everyone I know about you guys so maybe I can help you find more good homes for your awesome horses!"

  • "This is Gretchen, I came with Michelle last week.
I really enjoyed meeting you & your horses.  You run a really great place.  It was my first trip to a
rescue & I was expecting to have my heart broken by seeing many horses that were skin & bones & with all kinds of ailments.  I was shocked to see horses in such good condition - it's obvious that you guys provide good care for these guys.  Each month I make a $25.00 donation to an animal cause - I know it's not much but I figure every bit helps.!"

  • "I knew of the people in WA state that had owned these and the others you have now. I had tried to help them out with other people but were required by law to return the mares. They just went back to the same situation and it was deplorable(?) spelling? I am very happy that you now have them.!"

Did those people finally have to disperse ALL the horses? *Bekas was such a pretty horse. We were always told he had a nasty attitude. I would too considering who he was with! I just don't know how they ended up with all those wonderfully bred horses and then kept them the way they did. then with so many people because of the horses taking them and caring for them just so when they were returned they were back being treated the way they were! I don't know how you did it but Thank God.
