Match Donations - check your employer guidelines for their charitable match policies. Most will match a donation made by an employee or his/her immediate family dollar for dollar.

Volunteer - Volunteering helps reduce costs for the organization in labor expenses. Pick your expertise to help out or just general labor. Come alone or set up a group day for people from your job, church or club. Many employers will pay you for your time or match your volunteer hours with a monetary gift to the organization you choose.

Some larger corporations will allow you to choose to have a portion of your pay donated to your chosen organization. 

Or choose your favorite charity to be the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, 401K, stocks, securities or have a trust or annuity set up.
