2022 Christmas Miracle Is Now Complete!

Welcome to the Arabian Rescue Mission, where it's all about the horse. The health, safety and well being of our horses is top priority.

As general costs go up, so does everything else. Transport and quarantine costs increase as do our farm expenses. Our feed has increased by over $400 a month ($4 per bag). Please consider becoming a sponsor for one of these new horses or one of our many permanent residents? Our project for 2022-2026 is to replace the rest of the interior fencing and to go green. We'd like to make the farm sustainable by getting a well and automatic waterers installed and putting up solar panels and wind turbines. This is another huge project but I have faith we can do it! This will be a 4 year plan for completion, so stay tuned. In the meanwhile enjoy the new fencing we got last year, 'cause we are. 

Update, we are 85% done with replacing all interior fencing, the new gates are up. The electrician will be here on the 12th to install the auto-gate opener and wiring for the security cameras. Our contractor will also be starting to lay all the pipe and water lines for the automatic waterers, which we already purchased. All of this is for the health, safety and well being of our horses.   Meet Grasshopper

He's the oldest equine on our farm at a young 50 years. He's also a character who loves playing rough, is in love with any older gal who will allow him to follow her around like a stalker. It's always entertaining to watch him.

Unfortunately, due to the economy we have lost a few sponsors, so now need around $300 more a month in new "Halos" for our angels, just to get back to where we were last year. Our costs have also gone up. Our basic pellet has gone up $4.00 per bag in the last 9 months, so you can imagine how high our specialized feeds have increased. Hay has gone up $1.50 per bale and so has everything else. A $20 recurring subscription will purchase 1 bag of grain for a horse each month. $50.00 will purchase 1 round bale which will feed 4 horses for 1 week or 1 horse for 4 weeks.

Laredo, Satin, Prince and quite a few others are permanent residents of the "sanctuary" side of our rescue. A few are blind, some are crippled and others have cancer or various medical issues. They range in age from 10-50 but are happy and will remain safe & loved while here at ARM. We need your help to keep them that way. Won't you consider being a HALO for one of these angels? We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that  was founded by Terry Figueroa, with its primary mission being to rescue Arabian horses in need.

In addition to Arabians, ARM has helped many other breeds as well.  Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving, permanent homes for them.

Our secondary mission is educating people in the responsibility, commitment and knowledge which can provide them with the tools necessary to offer nurturing, healthy environments for their horses.

 We are of the belief that every horse deserves a caring, responsible, educated owner; and every person deserves the chance at owning one of God's most dignified and gracious creatures.
