We have programs in place to help you, individuals and rescues.





What we do

Arabian Rescue Mission, Inc. (ARM) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, voted top-rated for the last 13 consecutive years. We are located in South Central KY. In line with our mission to help horses in need, focusing on Arabian horses as well as pregnant/nursing mares and foals, we have proposed a pro-active approach to helping them. Since the beginning we have always been available to help re-home horses whose owners are unable to care for them due to life-changing situations. Whether it be posting, advertising and marketing them to future homes, accepting owner surrenders at our farms or traveling to care for and place entire herds from their locations, our approach has always been professional, empathetic and non-judgmental, keeping the horses’ best interest at the forefront.

Owner Assistance



Our owner assistance program is slated to start in 2017. We have some seed money and are raising more. Applications will be accepted when we are ready to launch and this program will help keep horses in their homes while owners suffering from temporary setbacks, like divorce, death of a wage earner, job loss or medical emergencies, get back on their feet and/or while we re-home some or all of their horses.​

Euthanasia
Assistance



At times horses are too old or disabled to be able to be re-homed, continue living a quality life and need help crossing the Rainbow Bridge. At these times, we can offer financial assistance to those in need. Open to both private owners and rescues we will offer 50% (up to $100) euthanasia cost as funding is available​

Studs-to-Buds Program



Anyone wishing to DONATE to this program may do so through our special paypal address, EDRF@arabianrescue.org or by mailing a check with the Memo: EDRF-gelding fund. Mail to ARM, 221 Blowtown Rd, Leitchfield KY 42754


With start-up funding from a local foundation, we are now able to enact our low-cost gelding program! This program will be available nationally and is open to all breeds. Applications will be accepted as of 7/1/16 and can be downloaded in the files section of our FB group, Arabian Rescue Mission, Inc. You can also email geldings@arabianrescuemission.org or call 973 948-9471 for one to be sent to you.


The Studs to Buds program will be run as a "FUNDS AVAILABLE" system covering $100 of the cost of a normal castration by your vet. As the program gets into full swing we will also be contacting vets to work with us in different areas so we can offer more free geldings on a national level. If your horse requires surgery for undescended testicles, you may apply for additional funding on the application.


Applications and assistance will be approved based on their merit and availability of funds.
